:: Salesforce / Salesforce development

Salesforce development services for what clicks can’t do

When Flow and configuration run out, you need code. We write Apex, Lightning Web Components and custom apps on the Salesforce Platform, plus customer and partner portals on Experience Cloud. Everything ships with tests, code review and a deployment pipeline.

Apex and Lightning Web Components

Experience Cloud portals

Tests and CI on every release

:: What we do

Custom Salesforce development we do

We use configuration where it is enough and write code only where it earns its place. That keeps your org easier to maintain.

01

Apex development

Triggers, batch jobs, queueable and scheduled classes, written to stay inside governor limits and covered by real tests.

02

Lightning Web Components

Custom screens, record pages and guided flows that are faster and clearer than standard layouts.

03

Custom Salesforce apps

Internal apps on the Salesforce Platform for quoting, inspections, onboarding or anything your team tracks in spreadsheets today.

04

Experience Cloud portals

Customer, partner and dealer portals with self-service, case tracking, knowledge and secure document sharing.

05

Mobile and offline

Salesforce mobile app setup or a custom mobile app that syncs with Salesforce, including offline use in the field.

06

DevOps and code quality

Source control, scratch orgs, automated tests and deployment pipelines so releases stop breaking production.

:: Salesforce app development

What we build on the Salesforce Platform

Configuration covers a lot. These are the jobs where custom development earns its cost.

:: How it works

How we run Salesforce development

Two-week sprints, a demo at the end of each, and nothing reaches production without tests passing.

Days 1 to 5

Scope

We review your org, agree the user stories and decide what should be configuration and what needs code.

Sprint 1

Prototype

A working version in a sandbox that your team can click through and comment on.

Sprints 2 to n

Build and test

Apex and LWC with unit tests, code review and user acceptance testing in a staging sandbox.

Release

Deploy

Automated deployment, a release note for users, and monitoring for the first week in production.

:: Flow or code

When to use Flow, and when to write code

We use configuration first, because your admin can maintain it. Code is for the cases below.

Flow and configuration are enough when

The logic is a clear sequence of steps

Volumes are moderate, a few thousand records at a time

Your admin needs to change it later

Standard screens and layouts fit the task

A ready-made connector exists for the integration

Write code when

Logic has many branches, calculations or lookups

Large data volumes hit Flow limits

Users need a custom interface

You integrate with a system that has no connector

Performance matters on busy objects

:: Cost and timeline

How much does Salesforce development cost?

Typical prices for our development work, based on senior Salesforce developers at $25 to $35 an hour.

Feature or component

$5k – $15k

2 to 4 weeks

One custom component, trigger or integration, with tests, documentation and deployment.

Custom app or portal

$15k – $60k

2 to 4 months

An Experience Cloud portal, a custom app or a set of related features built in sprints.

Platform build

$60k – $150k+

4 to 8 months

A larger product on Salesforce, with several integrations, a DevOps pipeline and ongoing releases.

Hourly or fixed price?

Small, well-defined features work best at a fixed price. Ongoing work suits a monthly team or hired developers, so you can change priorities every sprint.

What moves the price

Custom interfaces versus standard layouts

Number of systems the code talks to

Data volumes and performance needs

Portal users and licence type

How much existing code needs fixing first

:: How we ship code

How we keep Salesforce code safe to change

Most Salesforce orgs break because changes go straight into production. Every line we write goes through this path.

01

Version control from day one

All metadata and code live in Git, so every change has an author, a reason and an easy way back.

02

Separate sandboxes

Developers build in their own sandboxes, then changes move to a shared test sandbox before production.

03

Automated tests

Apex tests that check real behaviour, not just coverage. Salesforce requires 75 per cent coverage; we aim higher on business logic.

04

Code review

A second developer reviews every change for security, limits and readability before it is merged.

05

Automated deployment

Changes deploy through a pipeline, such as Salesforce DevOps Center or GitHub Actions, so releases are repeatable.
